Wikimetal is a wiki entirely dedicated to metal music and its culture. Its purpose is to create a great and as accurate as possible information database, free of access and modification by contributors.

You can also browse the wiki by genre or by country.

The wiki is free of access for anyone, but only registered users can modify pages or create new ones.

How to contribute

This is pretty simple: just register by clicking on the link on the top-right corner, confirm your account, and then you'll be able to modify pages or create new ones.

Careful though!, using Wikimetal implies complying to certain rules - we don't want it to become anarchy.

When you register, a personal page is allowed to you. You can write pretty much anything you like (about yourself, mostly) on this page. Its adress on the wiki is User:Your_Username. You can access it by clicking on your login name on the top-right corner, or by putting the URL in your browser: http://www.wikimetal.info/wiki/User:Your_Username.

Support us

We are a small team maintaining the website and it implies a lot of time. So you can support us by adding/correcting data of course, but also by applying for becoming part of the team, and so help us managing it.

The website also implies some money to be kept online. It is free of access, but if you like it and would like help it survive through time, you can make a donation by clicking on the PayPal button in the left menu. That would be greatly appreciated!
