This is the first wiki entirely about metal music and its culture. The purpose of Wikimetal is to build a free info database in order to promote metal music, its culture, etc. Wikimetal is neither a webzine nor an association, but only wants to build something from everyone's passion and help.
The wiki started as a French project, and we are currently moving on to English so that anyone can read, gather and contribute. Be patient in the meantime! Some French pages can still appear here and there, but it's a big work and we're only a few to handle it (until now)...
Remember that this website will not be possible without your contribution. Don't hesitate to debate and discuss in the related discussion pages for every article too (second tab in the top menu of pages).
Oh, and please read the basic rules and the help before doing anything stupid. Thanks!
