Initialement autoproduit (certaines sources mentionnent Zig Zag Records, mais où
cela est écrit sur la pochette reste non elucidé), l'album a été ensuite signé par
Music for Nations (MFN1), puis Mongol Horde et Canadian Maze Records. Music For Nations
reste la première signature.

L'album a été réédité pour la première fois en CD en 2002 (par T&T, Noise et Sanctuary).

Une version européenne a aussi été sortie par Music For Nations, intitulée "A Cry in
The Night". Elle incluait le titre pré-cité au lieu du remix de "Don't Say Goodbye
(Tonight)" comme première piste, et une "Interview" à la place de "Wait For The Night"
comme piste 4. La pochette ci-contre est celle de la version EU. La version US était
une photo du groupe autour de flammes. Les trois titres originels plus l'interview
de la version EU ont été remasterisés pour la réédition CD de 2002 de "Guardians of the Flame".

Ce disque compile originellement des titres des deux premiers albums réenregistrés
(à l'époque épuisés). Sont aussi inclus des titres ecrits à différents moments
de leur carrière qui sont inédits et jamais sortis. Le spistes 5 à 8 sont des versions
réenregistrées de titres écrits par David DeFeis et Jack Starr en 1997.
Apparemment Jack Starr est en train de sortir également ces titres, comme il n'apparait
pas sur ce disque.

"Conjuration of the Watcher" et "The Succubus", écrits par DeFeis, apparaissent
sur le LP de 1986 d'Original Sin "Sin Will Find You Out".
