Unearth est un groupe de metal hardcore américain, qui vient de Winthrop (Massachusetts).

Biographie

Formé en 1998, Unearth trouve très vite son style hybride entre hardcore et metal mélodique, et même Death Metal. Après 2 albums, le combo est remarqué par le label hardcore respecté Eulogy Recordings qui sort The Stings Of Conscience en 2001 puis le EP Endless fin 2002. Le groupe est distribué en Europe par Alveran Records qui se charge d'une partie de la promotion Eulogy chez nous. Une tournée européenne est réalisée en 2003, année au cours de laquelle ils signent sur le label de metal extrême Metal Blade Records: The Oncoming Storm nait le 29 juin 2004. Ils ont fait beaucoup de tournées aux États-Unis, en Europe et au Canada, avec des groupes comme In Flames, Poison The Well, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Soilwork, From Autumn to Ashes, Zao et Chimaira. Le 08 Aout 2006, le combo sort son 3eme album intitulé "III: In The Eyes Of Fire"
