Stream Of Passion est un des nombreux projets de A.A. Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One), s'inscrivant dans une veine très symphonique tout en conservant quelques accents progressifs, bien que moins fréquents qu'à l'accoutumée. C'est Marcela Bovio (Elfonia) qui tient ici le rôle de vocaliste.
Après un album studio et un DVD live, Lucassen quitte le groupe pour se consacrer pleinement au nouvel opus d'Ayreon.
