Morgana Lefay est un groupe de Power Metal suédois, formé en 1986.


Sommaire

Biographie

De 1986 à 1989, le groupe s'est appelé Damage. En 1989 ils changent leur nom en Morgana Lefay. Ce nom s'inspire bien entendu du patronyme que donnent les anglo-saxons au personnage de la fée Morgane dans la saga arthurienne.

En 1997, le groupe se sépare.

Persson, Heder et Soderling enregistrent encore un album sous ce nom, pour de simples raisons contractuelles. Rytkönen et Eriksson, auxquels se joignent des membres de Fantasmagoria, continuent de leur côté sous le nom Lefay.

Septembre 2004 : Lefay signe à nouveau avec Black Mark et regagne ses droits sur le nom complet du groupe.
