Monastery était un groupe de Death Metal à forte tendance grind formé à Schiedam en Hollande en1991.
Il existe un second groupe hollandais qui a débuté en 1997 se nommant aussi Monastery mais n'ayant rien à voir.

Biographie

C'est un groupe basé sur la collaboration de musiciens ayant déjà des formations solides. Le but avoué étant de retrouver la fraicheur de l'inspiration 'garage',peu de temps après l'enregistrement de leurs compositions (une seule session !) ils décidèrent de se séparer.
