"Other Band Play, Manowar Kill !", voilà la devise de ce groupe américain (Auburn, New York) décrié ou adulé, inventeur du "True Metal". Manowar ne laisse pas indifférent tant par son discours que par son attitude.
Son Heavy Metal épique arpente les scènes mondiales depuis le début des années 80, la réputation en concert du groupe n'est plus à faire.
Celui-ci se déclarant même groupe le plus puissant du monde avec un record de décibels en concert citant une performance enregistrée à 129,5 décibels en 1994 à Hanovre (Allemagne).
