Biographie

Kataxu est un groupe polonais de black metal symphonique national socialiste (NSBM).

Ils enregistrèrent en 1995 leur première démo : "Nort Demo".

Deux ans plus tard (1997), le groupe sort un split CD, ainsi qu'en 2000 avec le groupe Thunderbolt.

La même année, le groupe enregistre son premier véritable album : "Roots Thunder". Il aura fallut ensuite attendre 5 ans pour découvrir son successeur : "Hunger of Elements".

La musique de Kataxu se rapproche de celle d'Emperor, grace à l'utilisation des synthés qui donnent à leur musique une ambiance fantastique assez particulière.

Kataxu est membre du Pagan Front.
