Kamelot est un groupe américain formé en 1991 à Tampa (Floride) sous la houlette du guitariste Thomas Youngblood et du batteur Richard Warner. Malgré ses origines américaines, le power/heavy metal mélodique et parfois progressif du groupe est fortement teinté d’influences européennes, contrées dans lesquelles Kamelot rencontre son public le plus fervent d’autant que depuis 1997, le norvégien Roy Khan (ex-Conception) tient le micro.
