Biographie

• Angus Young
  

31 mars 1955 : Naissance à Glasgow en Ecosse
1970: il créer son groupe Tantrum
Angus Young utilise seulement des Gibson SG et enfile un tenue d'écolier pour les concerts.

• Malcolm Young
  

6 janvier 1953 : Naissance à Glasgow en Ecosse, il est le grand frere d'Angus
Avant de former AC/DC il jouait dans le groupe The Velvet Underground
Malcom Young a pour influence les Rolling Stones et les jazz de Louis Armstong.
Il compose presque l'ensemble des morceaux du groupe.

• Brian Johnson
  

5 octobre 1947 : Naissance à Newcastle.
Avant de rejoindre AC/DC il chantait dans le groupe Géordie. Il succedera à Bon Scott.

• Bon Scott (Ronald Belford)
  

9 juillet 1946 : Naissance en Ecosse.
Il a chanté dans plusieurs groupes avant de rejoindre AC/DC : The Spectors et The Valentines.. Il décédera à Londres, à la suite d'une soirée bien arrosée, il aurait été trouvé dans la voiture d'un ami.

• Cliff Williams
  

14 décembre 1949 : Naissance en Angleterre.
Il créa son propre groupe appelé Home mais le groupe se sépare, il rejoint alors un groupe : Bandit. Il rejoindra ACDC en temps que bassiste pour l'enregistrement de Powerage en 1978.

• Phil Rudd
  

19 mai 1954 : Naissance à Malbourne.
Avant de joindre ACDC, il jouait pour le groupe The colored balls.
Il rejoint AC/DC en 1975 en temps que batteur et c'est en 1983, après une sérieuse altercation avec Malcolm qu'il quitte le groupe
Phil est de retour 10 ans plus tard pour l'enregistrement de l'album Ballbreaker au printemps 94.

• Chris Slade
  

30 octobre 1946 : Naissance en Angleterre.
Il se fait remarquer pour la première fois en 1965 quand il jouait en temps que batteur avec Tom Jones le hit 'It's Not Unusual'.
Puis il joua dans beaucoup de groupes différents (Tony Hazzard et Tom Paxton, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Uriah Heep...) avant de rejoindre ac/dc en 1990, suite au départ de Simon Wright.
Il enregistra l'album "The Razor's Edge" puis participa à la tournée mondiale qui suivit.
Il a aussi enregistré avec le groupe une chanson de la bande originale du film "last action hero" (avec M. Schwarzenegger) : Big Gun.
En 1995, c'est Phil Rudd qui reprend sa place pour l'album enregistrer "Ballbreaker".

• Mark Evans
  

2 mars 56 : Naissance à Melbourne.
En mars 75, il rencontre AC/DC alors à la recherche d'un bassiste plus expérimenté.
Il rejoint rapidement le groupe qu'il quitte à l'été 77.
Il figure sur les albums High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap et Let There Be Rock.

• Simon Wright
  

19 juin 1963  : Naissance en Angleterre.
À 18 ans il rejoint le groupe Tora Tora qui ne publie qu'un simple.
En 1980 Simon Wright rejoint AIIZ qui enregistre un album "Witch of Berkeley".
Suit le groupe Tytan en 82, qui se sépare durant l'été 83.
Puis rejoint AC/DC en temps que batteur fin 83 pour la tournée mondiale Flick Of The Switch qui débute au Canada puis aux States.
Il enregistre Fly on the Wall Et Blow Up Your Video avec AC/DC et joue en 86 sur les titres "inédits" de l'album Who Made Who.
Il quitte le groupe en 89 pour rejoindre Ronnie James Dio.
